Current sensors based on magnetoresistive devices

 

Main Results

INESC-MN has been collaborating with Univ.Valencia for the fabrication of Wheatstone bridge sensors based on magnetoresistive elements, for current monitoring. Several chips were fabricated at INESC-MN (wafer deposition, microfabrication and chip encapsulation), using spin valves and magnetic tunnel junctions. The final chips are then tested in the Univ.Valencia,
