Helena Alves
Helena Alves received her PhD. in Chemistry in 2004 from IST, Lisbon Technical University. Her thesis topic involved synthesis, chemical and physical characterization of organic conductors, semi-conductors and molecular magnets. Between 2004 and 2005 she was a Post-Doc on Lisbon Telecommunications Institute working on organic photovoltaic and OLED. In 2006 she moved to Kavli Institute of NanoScience, TU delft in the Netherlands, has a Post Doctoral Fellow, working on single crystal field effect transistor. At 2008’s end, she joined INESC-MN research institute as a principal investigator. Her current research interests are in organic materials for electronic applications and organic field effect transistors (OFET).
